Defiant in marriage

There comes a time when one must weight the benefits and the risks of being defiant in marriage. I’m referring to specifically going against what your husband says, and buying an expensive item that he said, “Don’t you dare spend more than $500.00.”

I carefully thought about the pros and the cons of spending $750.00+, of being disobedient. I considered the consequences, the ramifications of not agreeing or making important buying decisions together, of being disrespectful and purposely going against my spouse’s wishes …
I conducted in my mind a cost to benefit ratio analysis.
Then I went ahead and bought the most AWESOME laptop computer from Newegg with a wireless Internet connection and an efficient and extremely organized carrying case with tons of storage, compartments and zippers.

After all, being a Mom, an entrepreneur and a blogger requires state-of-the-art equipment to manage my daily life. If not, there won’t be time for supper on the table when he gets home! It’s all a matter of perspective.
