This is the part of marketing that I really love: listening to the feedback of users.
In the office, we are always holding informal focus groups -- sharing ideas, emailing redesigned web pages to each other, asking for opinions on all kinds of projects.
A good focus group is given the basic parameters under which they need to work, and then is allowed to explore, discuss and critique. A company can learn so much from a well directed focus group.
Sometimes we need to reach outside our office for a fresh perspective. This week, we are pulling together a lunch time meeting for a group of people to play with their iPads.
Doesn't that sound like fun?
