My Knight in Shining Armor Ring

Gothic jewelry that’s also a weapon!

There’s this guy at work who bugs me. The next time he offers me toilet paper or diet pills I’m poking him with this super cool Claw Finger Armor. This Gothic Jewelry from DragonWeave Jewelry gives new meaning to the term statement jewelry. It isn’t only stylin’, it’s great for self defense. Read the rest of this entry »

Purim Piñata fun for everyone

Find the coolest Mexican piñata shapes for your next party

My husband and I decided to try something new and celebrate Purim this year. Oh what fun we had celebrating how Queen Esther saved the Jews of Persia from annihilation. We got decked out in costumes, loaded up on noisemakers, food baskets, had a festive meal, and finished up by knocking the candy out of this Purim Mexican Piñata!

On the Down Low with Lowrider Headphones

lowrider headphones

Normally, I’m not a fan of lowriders. Lowrider cars driven by high school delinquents, lowrider pants worn by high school delinquents. Actually, come to think of it my problem isn’t with lowriders at all…it’s with high school delinquents. I certainly love these Skull Candy LowRider Headphones from CCS Skateboards.

No more tears in the kitchen

onion goggles

My mother is a very sentimental woman. She’s always crying about something. Whether it’s a birthday, her grandkids growing like weeds, a sappy greeting card or if she’s chopping up an onion to put in a meatloaf…watch out, because here come the waterworks. When I saw these Onion Goggles from King Arthur Flour, I figured I could at least get her to stop crying in the kitchen.

Say L’Chaim to Signature wine

My son’s Bar Mitzvah is coming up, and between finding the venue, practicing the Torah with him, and finding a dress to wear…I was hard up for favors. I didn’t think personalized yarmulkes would have the same effect as personalized booze, so stocking up on Personalized Wine Bottles from Signature Wines seemed like a grand idea.

Music to Swimmer’s ears

I love to swim, but I’m no Olympic phenom like Michael Phelps. Maybe I’ll be inspired in the pool while doing laps if I listen to the Olympic theme song on my Finis Waterproof Swim MP3 Surf Player. The SwiMP3 Surf waterproof MP3 Player is a swimming music lover’s dream come true.

Hip to be Square Shower Drain

square shower drains

The last time I dropped an earring down the drain, I was screwed. Literally. I damaged the finish while removing the screw and to top things off, I lost the screw on top of losing my diamond stud. That’s why for me, Square Shower Drain Covers from Tile Depot- Flooring Supply are the way to go.

Call it half a shade

Kanye West shutter shades are too cool for shool

I love Kanye West. I love his songs, I love his style, I love his name. French designer of high-end handmade eyeglasses, Alain Mikli loves him too and designed these shades specifically for the K-man. Once seen around town sporting the shuttered specs, all the cool kids wanted a pair, including me. These Kanye West Shutter Shades from Dr. Jays make me feel like I was a doe-shutter-eyed extra in Kanye’s Stronger video.
