Fashion flip flops you’ll flip for
Unlike most women, I wouldn’t call myself shoe obsessed.
On the contrary, I am shoe incensed. I have a love/hate relationship with shoes and there isn’t anything that irritates me more than spending an insane amount of money on a pair of heels or flats that hurt, pinch and fall apart by the fourth time I wear them.
I want shoes that make a statement.
Shoes that are stylish.
Shoes that are comfortable.
Shoes that have a longer shelf life than the Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing in my fridge.
I also want shoes that are affordable, which is why I am not splurging on a pair of cool Fashion Flip Flops from Okabashi. Thanks to their low prices, I don’t have to splurge.
Put yourself in my shoes. I know you want to.

Custom Monogrammed Soap, custom carved just for you
When it comes to soap, I don’t like to share.
Mi casa es su casa (My house is your house), but mi jabón no es su jabón (My soap is not your soap). I’m a bit of a germaphobe and I don’t know where your hands have been, so it’s only natural that I invest in personalized monogrammed soap that keeps your dirty, bacteria riddled hands off of my clean, pure and pretty soap.
I take pride in buying only the best when it comes to soaps, bars that are good for the environment, good for my sensitive skin and elegant enough to display in my powder room. I’ve found the perfect triple-milled, triple threat soap that passes all of the criteria listed above with this Custom Monogrammed Soap from Carved Solutions.

Mother’s Day is just around the corner and I’m wondering what gifts my kids have in store for me this year.

That porridge was too hot.
That very same year my son gave me cash.
That $5 bill was too cold.

Vibrating alarm wrist watch – Vibrates for a silent alarm on your wrist
I have a long list of things I need to be reminded of every day.
Call him, call her. Pick up this, drop off that. Withdraw, deposit, eat, clean…wash, rinse, repeat. I’m so busy that if I don’t get in my daily reminders, I will forget to perform even the simplest tasks (i.e. bathroom breaks).
The last thing I want to do is disrupt the entire office with my twenty-something alarms going off every hour, which is why my Vibrating Alarm Wrist Watch from SoundBytes is a godsend. It’s like a silent personal assistant who nudges me whenever I need to be nudged.
In fact, I’m vibrating right now. Time to feed the cat.

Herbal stress remedy with Tao strength stress relief in a bottle
Stress is a many unsplendored thing.
Yes, I realize that unsplendored isn’t technically a word, but I’m not going to stress about it. Although I do seem to stress over everything else in my life. Like any other woman of the new millenium, I stress over the big things and the little things…from my kids and their health to my job, meeting deadlines at the end of the month and my cat George. With every day that goes by, I find myself sweating over the small stuff and crying out “Calgon, take me away!”
Sadly, Calgon bubbles don’t live up to the hype and I don’t have a genie in a bottle that will grant my wish for stress free satisfaction, but I do have Tao in a Bottle – the Herbal Stress Remedy from Ron Teeguarden’s Dragon Herbs that totally rubs me the right way.

Lemon scented candles lightly scented with ginger, grapefruit and lemongrass
Some days, things just don’t go your way.
You realize your umbrella has a hole in it during a tropical storm.
You grab a doorknob at Disney World and get sick for a month.
The coffee maker splurts coffee grounds all over you.
You find out there’s 50lbs of honey in the walls of your house.
When life gives me lemons, I don’t make lemonade (too much sugar). Instead, I do two things.
1. I take a lemon-flavored Emergen-C packet for a burst of Vitamin C.
2. I light my Ginger and Grapefruit Scented Candles from Nice Aromas.
It works every time.

Mini brownies in tasty mini sampler sizes
They say good things come in small packages. This is true for some things, but not all…
When it comes to my daughter’s skirts, I prefer maxi over mini.
When it comes to evening heels…the bigger the heel, the sexier the shoe.
Diamonds… enough said.
When it comes to brownies, normally I say the bigger the better… unless you’re on a diet. In that case, mini works out just fine. Now I can have my brownie cakes and eat them too with this Half Dozen Sampler of Mini Brownies from The Exceptional Brownie. I love getting to sample three delicious flavors, and so does my waistline.

Smore maker makes yummy smores, 3 at a time
I’ve been on a strict, no sweet diet for what seems like all eternity. Ignoring the occasional chocolate urge, (or supressing it with cornicopious amounts of veggies) I have successfully prohibited myself from enjoying the sweeter edible things in life. After my daughter’s birthday I spent an entire week bringing in leftover sweet treats to share at the office – cake, doughnuts, cookies. I still look smashing, my co-workers gained 5 pounds.
I just returned from a vacation to Boston for the 4th of July. I celebrated the birth of America by taking in the beauty of the Cape Cod Bay while eating gooey, delicious smores (some say s’mores, I don’t need the apostrophe). I hadn’t had a smore in decades, and sans my trusted band of sweet eating co-workers, I had no choice but to submit. Now I want to eat smores round the clock, and I can with this Campfire Smore Maker from Gooseberry Patch.
I’m biting off smore than I can chew.

Phone flask that makes you want to answer every phone call
I love my phone. I love martinis. Best of all, I love martinis in my phone.
This innovative Phone Flask from Gunther Gifts is better than any iPhone app I’ve downloaded in the past few months. It allows you to conveniently carry your spirits wherever you go, and if people on the street give you a dirty look for taking a mid-day swig, you can simply pretend you’re on the phone with your mother.
