Best K Cups for the best cups of coffee, tea or cocoa
Our office recently acquired a new, shiny deluxe Keurig Single-cup brewer in the kitchen and I was ecstatic. We’re in the middle of a recession and my AM Starbucks runs were the first luxury to go. Our boss brought in a huge box of the best K Cups in my humble opinion, the Hot Cocoa ones from Green Mountain Coffee, and I couldn’t wait to enjoy my first cup of delightfully rich and creamy cocoa goodness. Little did I know I was not Keurig inclined.
I pranced into the kitchen with my cocoa K Cup, head held high. I admired the sleek craftsmanship and finish, removed the foil top from my K Cup, placed it in the machine and waited. A “Not Ready” warning flashed, so I waited patiently for my mid-day treat. Twenty minutes or so passed with me standing there, occasionally glancing at the vending machine. Perhaps I’d have some Biscotti with my cocoa…and then all cocoa hell broke loose.

Space bag large sized for extra large space saving
My Spring Cleaning saga continues…
I started on my daughter’s room last weekend, and am still not even close to being done. Winter is over and my daughter needs to make room in her closet for all of her new Spring fashion acquisitions. I was cleaning out her closet, wondering how she accumulated so many cute and comfy sweaters, then I realized most of them were mine. No wonder I was freezing all Winter. Thanks a lot dear.
Instead of taking up valuable closet or drawer space, I’m tripling our storage space with the Original Large Space Bag from Spacesavers! A Spacesaver #1 Bestseller, these state-of-the-art space bags are out of this world giving you up to three times more storage space for bulky sweaters, comforters, coats, sleeping bags, patio cushions and more by storing and compressing items quickly and conveniently. Plus, they eliminate bugs, moisture and dust while storing! No moths on Space Bag’s watch.

Blooming Spring flowers to spring on your Mom this Mother’s Day
Being a mom is often a thankless job.
As a Mom you get thrown up on, drooled on and snotted on, and that’s when your kids are in High School. We rarely remember to thank our Mothers for raising us, cooking us delicious nutritionally balanced meals, washing behind our ears and for teaching us right from wrong. When the second Sunday in May arrives, the least we can do to express our appreciation is to send our Mothers a rocking arrangement of flowers…ones that weren’t stolen from her treasured rosebush or the neighbor’s garden.
Celebrate her day this Mother’s Day with this It’s Your Day Blooming Spring flower arrangement from Beyond Blossoms and she’ll be beyond happy, she’ll be perennially happy.

This therapy pillow gives me a therapeutic night’s sleep, finally
It’s never a silent night in my house.
I have 2 teenagers, and it’s been 6 years, 4 months, 13 days and 9 hours since I’ve had a good night’s sleep. I know, I’ve counted. I’m too busy thinking about all the work I need to do, all the pitches I need to make, all the bacon I need to bring home and all the kids I have to raise. Instead of crying tears on my pillow every night from all my accumulated stress, I can now be soothed by my favorite mellow sounds of Sade’s “Smooth Operator” or Enya’s “Orinoco Flow” thanks to this Sleep Oasis Therapy Pillow from Soundbytes. The tea pot did it in the billiard room… or was it the kettle in the library
Some people call me Amy, but those who know me to a tea (sorry, tee) call me Sherlock, Super Sleuth Extraordinaire. When I’m not working my day job at Catalogs.com, I would do Sir Arthur Conan Doyle proud, solving various neighborhood crimes and mysteries. I don’t like to brag, but most recently I single-handedly nabbed the culprit who stole my garbage can. The proper authorities were contacted immediately.
Once the crime solving is finished and the mysteries are solved, I like to come home, take off my trench coat, smoke a pipe and use this Japanese Tea Pot from Todd & Holland Tea Merchants to brew the finest Earl Grey tea… just as my dear predecessor Sherlock Holmes would have done.

Snowboarding hats so bad they’re good!
I may look like a li’l old snow bunny, but I’m a devil on the slopes. I swish and swoosh with the best of them. If I didn’t work for Catalogs.com, I’d be training for the 2010 Winter Olympic games in Vancouver. From googles to ski bibs, parkas to scarves… I ski better if I look better. The cuter my outfit, the better my form and technique. This Snowboarding hat from Snow Shack lets everyone out in the snow know- I’m a lean, mean, snowboarding machine. Have the last word with decorative wall word quotes
My kids don’t always listen to me, so sometimes I need a little extra help. After 13 years my son still didn’t know where the laundry hamper was. I found his dirty underwear and socks everywhere. Then I enlisted the help of Wall Words. With their aid I was able to put up a Decorative Wall Quote reminding my son where to drop his drawers.

My son’s Bar Mitzvah is coming up, and between finding the venue, practicing the Torah with him, and finding a dress to wear…I was hard up for favors. I didn’t think personalized yarmulkes would have the same effect as personalized booze, so stocking up on Personalized Wine Bottles from Signature Wines seemed like a grand idea.

School is back in session! The lazy days of summer are over for my kids, but just beginning for me. Now that they’re back in school I can take a load off and enjoy leisurely dips in the water, lounging in hammocks and catch up on my summer reading. I don’t want to have to lift a finger, or turn a cone for that matter. I’m taking laziness to a new level with this Motorized Ice Cream Cone from Miles Kimball.com.
