Get into the Buddha Groove

buddha magnets

When I was in college I was given a set of magnetic poetry as a gift.

I grew to hate this set when every morning quest for a glass of oj would leave me staring at the refrigerator door at some fragmented non-sensical sentence my roommate’s boyfriend assembled while drunk the night before. As an AP/Honors English student and budding writer, I never responded well to phrases such as:

you are ugly cracker looking
elbow the clown my uncle
your burrito too voluptuous

It was a waste of words and I ultimately ended up throwing them all away. To my dismay, a dry erase board was put up in its place with a barely legible scrawl that read Buy Me Beer.

Years later, I can finally look at my refrigerator door without wincing thanks to these Buddha Magnets from Buddha Groove, a Magnetic word kit that helps me find my center with 20 inspirational quotes and words combined.

Frame Your Name

frame your name

Personalized name art - Frame Your Name with personalized art frames

What’s in a name?

As Shakespeare’s ill-fated heroine Juliet declared,

“That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet.”

I doth agree Miss Capulet, but artwork personalized with that which we call your name is even sweeter.

Frame Your Name with Personalized Name Art from Frames by Mail for a gift that has their name written all over it.

I’ve got nice jugs

clark gable royal doulton mug

Character jugs that really show some character

Frankly Scarlett, I don’t give a damn about the economy.

It’s been a bad fiscal year for me and all of my fellow Americans. I’ve lost an exorbitant amount of money in only a few short months, and I’m only a few transactions away from selling all of my clothes on Ebay and coming to work wearing a barrel. I’m through with 401K’s, IRA’s and all that other financial mumbo jumbo. From now on I’m only investing in priceless collectibles, like my nice jugs.

Not those kinds of jugs (although my other jugs are pretty captivating too, according to my boyfriend). I have an amazing collection of Royal Doulton Toby jugs, mugs, figurines and collectibles that are going to be worth millions one day.

Hopefully sooner than later.

Drop Your Drawers Here

Have the last word with decorative wall word quotes

My kids don’t always listen to me, so sometimes I need a little extra help. After 13 years my son still didn’t know where the laundry hamper was. I found his dirty underwear and socks everywhere. Then I enlisted the help of Wall Words. With their aid I was able to put up a Decorative Wall Quote reminding my son where to drop his drawers.

Dog Day Afternoon

Photo to canvas in a flash

We’re all dog lovers here at Catalogs.com. Leslie and I have our Labrador Link, Trish has her Black Lab Jenna, Jody has a Silkypoo named Marley and Samara has Zoey the killer Cairn, plus a fake dog on her desk named Molly. If we could, we’d make our hallway a complete dog gallery shrine to our pets with these Custom Photo to Canvas Prints from Canvas on Demand.

Call me the African Queen

tikar mask

I’m a woman who loves to play dress up. I also love sprucing up my pad with cool ethnic home decor. This African Tikar Mask from Eastern Art Arcade combines both my love for the dramatic, and my love for interior design. I can dress up or scare my son with it, then hang it on the wall to make a lovely wall centerpiece. It’s so regal I feel like I just won the Immunity Idol on Survivor.
