No more tears in the kitchen

My mother is a very sentimental woman. She’s always crying about something. Whether it’s a birthday, her grandkids growing like weeds, a sappy greeting card or if she’s chopping up an onion to put in a meatloaf…watch out, because here come the waterworks. When I saw these Onion Goggles from King Arthur Flour, I figured I could at least get her to stop crying in the kitchen.

When I first saw these goggles, I didn’t know whether to laugh or to cry. One thing’s for sure, if you hate slicing onions, say goodbye to tearing, stinging and irritated eyes thanks to these hi-tech Onion Goggles. Whether you’re chopping, mincing, dicing or slicing onions, leeks, scallions or chives, these Onion Goggles have a comfortable foam seal and anti-fog lenses that offer maximum clarity and eye protection. Sure she might look like a welder when she’s wearing them but hey, they really work! The unisex design fits most face shapes and come with their own storage case for $19.95. Mom’ll never cry her eyes out again…until my kids graduate high school.
