I have been looking for the Monchichi Monkey for a while and was wondering how I would go about actually getting one or two of these monkeys, I live in Ireland and I cant seem to get any here and I have searched quite a few places. we didnt have much toys growing up. a friend to my mum send us a parcel one day and in it were these adorable monkeys, a family of five. we were so happy. they were our first real dollies. of course we lost them over the years. one day as i walked through a used items store, i happened to find one!! i couldnt stop screaming and crying. it took me back to those days!! soo i bought the monkey for less than a dollar!!! i have a daughter now who also loves the monkey. and a right of passage has been handed down.

I do remember it! How cute…. Being an ’80s girl I used to have a Monchhichi. It was a sort of lucky mascot of my school days… I remember hiding it under the desk and, time to time, touching and caressing it whishing not to be called by the teacher for an oral test!
