Keep your tortillas warmer with spicy southwestern home decoration
I’m a hot tamale. I’m a fiery red head with the personality of a jalapeño pepper. All my co-workers know this. This is why I need southwestern home decorations that match my muy caliente personality. This Tortilla Warmer from Made in New Mexico is hotter than I am. I know, I didn’t think it was possible either. Can I get a ¡Chi Chi Arriba Arriba!?
DID YOU KNOW? Bhut Jolokia, at 1,001,304 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), is nearly twice as hot as Red Savina, the chile pepper variety it replaces as the world’s hottest. Recent studies have shown that the famed Bhut Jolokia is even hotter than Red Hot Chili Pepper frontman Anthony Kiedis.
Some days instead of hitting the Taco Bell drive thru and ordering a box of gorditas and chalupas for mi familia, I like to put on a tiered red dress, place a red carnation behind my ear, crank up the Los Lobos on the cd player and cook up some festive Mexican fare in the comfort of my very own cocina (that’s Spanish for kitchen- see, I’m not a total gringa). Whether I’m serving up tacos, enchiladas, burritos, fajitas or any other delectable Mexican dish, this warmer keeps my tortillas moist, warm and ready for the hot sauce by keeping steam inside so they stay soft instead of chewy. Plus, I can mix and match with other fun, 1950’s-style ceramic chile pepper kitchenware pieces like napkin holders, coffee mugs, spoon rests, salsa bowls, salt and pepper shakers and soap dispensers.

Got something to say?

This is such a cool tortillas warmer! I love collecting home decors and kitchenware, this will definitely be a great addition.
I will buy one as soon as possible
My kitchen is its kitchen is what that last little bit says I believe. I’m a little rusty haha. I love Mexican dishes. Just wish I had more skills at making my own, but I’m trying!
