Dig in to this Doris Day biography for the scoop on one of your favorite Old Hollywood stars

When I was just a little girl,
I asked my mother “What will I be?”
“Will I be pretty, will I be rich?”
Here’s what she said to me…
“How the hell should I know?”

Thanks Mom.

It’s a good thing I picked up this Doris Day biography from BearManor Media. Que Sera, Sera The Magic of Doris Day Through Television tells me everything I ever wanted to know but was too scared to ask Mom.

I love E True Hollywood Stories. I record them until there’s no space left on my Tivo. This biography gives me the same thrill while guiding me along on the television journey of America’s favorite sweetheart, Doris Day.

With this ultimate Doris Day companion you’ll find amazing facts from her hit TV series The Doris Day Show, a Mad magazine tribute to the series, an overview of Doris’s classic films and shining albums, film festivals, stage productions and more celebrating the ageless #1 superstar.

DID YOU KNOW? Doris was named after her mother’s favorite movie star - Doris Kenyon. Contrary to popular belief , Doris never liked being called Doris Day. She thought it sounded like a stripper name. If Doris had her druthers, in all her films she’d be billed as Candy Cox instead.

The book, featuring over 400 pages and close to 200 photographs, is written by the winning team of Pierre Patrick & Garry McGee with a foreword by Jackie Joseph. Plus, an exclusive interview with Doris Day and her co-stars!

Whatever will be, will be.

Features:

-Paperback edition
-Over 400 pages
-Close to 200 photos
-Price: $24.95

I am looking for some of Doris Days’ older movies that are hopefully now on DVD.
She did 2 in the early 1950’s; “By The Light of the Silvery Moon” 1953 and one other simular in story line with Gordon McRae & Billy Gray. I live in Vancouver, B.C. Canada and am interested in buying these movies, but do not know where I can get them from.

Please advise if they are available on DVD and where I can find them.

    Thank You. Chase
