I am looking for some of Doris Days’ older movies that are hopefully now on DVD.
She did 2 in the early 1950′s; “By The Light of the Silvery Moon” 1953 and one other simular in story line with Gordon McRae & Billy Gray. I live in Vancouver, B.C. Canada and am interested in buying these movies, but do not know where I can get them from.
Please advise if they are available on DVD and where I can find them.

I feel badly that she’s still livng but doesn’t come out in public anymore. She owns a beautiful, little dog-friendly hotel in Carmel, Ca, but doesn’t even go in there. I stayed in it about 4 years ago.
About 2 years ago, on the cover of one of the Star rag magazines, I saw a photo of her looking a bit undone, and the headline was “Doris Day is Dying! No wonder some stars turn into recluses! The mean gossip rags take our stars from us years before they die because they are so ready to criticize their looks or talk about their health.
I heard she has beed sad ever since her son died. I appreciate that she has done much for animal welfare.
