This Santa Dog suit from In the Company of Dogs makes me believe

When I was ten I stopped believing in Santa. I witnessed my sleepy father ripping a Cabbage Patch Kid out of it’s box and from that day forward I knew, it was all a pretense. Until last year. Why does this Dog Santa Suit from In the Company of Dogs make me believe? Here is my story…

Last Christmas Eve I was
sleeping all snug in my bed,
while visions of Marc Jacobs
handbags danced in my head.
When down on the stairs
there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed
to see what was the matter.

I tiptoed down the steps to an incredible sight,
A dog in a Santa Suit, his beard snowy white.
He was covered in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his hat was all tarnished with ashes and soot.
His eyes how they twinkled! His wagging tail how merry!
His nose was all wet, his body so hairy!
He spoke not a word, but went straight to the tree,
Then he lifted his leg and on my presents he peed.
Then he gave a big bark that was worse than his bite,
Spreading Christmas cheer to all, and to all a good-night!

DID YOU KNOW? Santa Claus is referred to as Père Noël in France, St. Nicholas or Sinter Klaas in Holland, Father Christmas in England, and the Three Kings in parts of Latin America and Spain. He is also popularly known on MySpace as HoHoHoMan1225.

Features:

- Bearded hat
- 4 mini legwarmers with jingle bells
- Sizes: XS (up to 12 lbs), S (15-30 lbs),
M (35-65 lbs), L (over 70 lbs)

That was hilarious! We in the Brotherhood of Humorous Dogsuits nod and murmur in approval.

Got something to say?
