Handsome tuxedo styles for a couple of hot dogs

It was a day that would go down in history -The first same sex canine marriage to be performed in the state of California. After sharing the same doghouse and living together in a domestic partnership for five years (thirty-five in dog years), Butch and Pepé finally decided to make it official. Pepé would now be added to Butch’s veterinary insurance policy and receive the same benefits and rights as any legal spouse. The catering was by Petco, the dog flea shampoo and styling products from 1800 Pet Meds, the flowers from Tulips.com, and the dashing dog tuxedo set from Marilyn’s Keepsakes.

DID YOU KNOW? An American Animal Hospital Association poll found that 33% of dog owners admit to talking to their dogs on the phone and leaving answering machine messages for them while away. Another poll revealed that while home alone, 27% of dogs run up their owner’s phone bills calling pet psychics.

Butch and Pepé made a smashing pair, decked out in their matching black bow ties with tiny white buttons lining their fronts. Every guest marveled at their romantic displays of affection…from the way they sniffed each other’s butts, to how they gazed adoringly into one another’s eyes during the vows. This was true love.

Butch: Arf.

And they would live happily ever after…

Pepé and Butch’s next challenge? Adopting a puppy to complete their happy family.
