Hi, I’m Matt

 custom doormat

This Custom doormat gives your visitors a customized hello

Hi, I’m Matt.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I work at Catalogs.com. I wear flip flops to work. I like Smuckers peanut butter. Everyone likes me, not only at work.  Everyone around town knows I’m the Mattster. Everyone in my apartment building knows me, the mailman knows me, even the Chinese food delivery guy knows me. They all know my name because when they come to my door, the first thing they see is this Custom Hi My Name Is Mat Doormat from Catalog Favorites that makes all of my introductions for me.

Make holiday entertaining bear-able

Add some black bear decor to your home with NorthStyle Catalog

I’m not the best host. I’m a great party guest, but I’m not so crazy about hosting. I don’t even like getting up every ten minutes to refresh my own drink much less other people’s drinks. Whether I’m watching a game on TV with the guys, having a dinner party or entertaining guests at a holiday shindig, I can’t take the stress of making sure everyone’s glass is half full. We can’t really afford a butler to perform white glove service at every one of our entertainment functions… but I can afford this Butler Bear from NorthStyle catalog.

Make it a Tuscan happy hour

Why have a glass of vino when you can have a whole pitcher with Tuscan china and pottery from Artistica

Who doesn’t love Italy? I adore all things Italian: the art, the fashion, the gondola rides, those men with the striped shirts, red scarves and funny hats that steer the gondolas, the pizza, the meatballs, hey, I even love having a little taste of Italy now and again at Olive Garden. But most of all, I love the Chianti vino muy delicioso. (Was that Italian or Spanish?…romance languages kill me). One of my most prized possessions is my Tuscan China Vino Pitcher from Artistica.

Sitting pretty

Icy cool chairs and contemporary living room furniture pieces that are icy hot

I don’t like to put my fanny just anywhere. I’m very selective when it comes to chairs, especially if they’re featured in my living room. They have to be comfortable, they have to match my decor, and they have to make a statement. Hee Welling’s collection of Cool Chairs from Design Within Reach are anything but ordinary. Why? They’re made from a major kitchen appliance. Read the rest of this entry »

Feeling hot, hot, hot

tortilla warmer

Keep your tortillas warmer with spicy southwestern home decoration

I’m a hot tamale. I’m a fiery red head with the personality of a jalapeño pepper. All my co-workers know this. This is why I need southwestern home decorations that match my muy caliente personality. This Tortilla Warmer from Made in New Mexico is hotter than I am. I know, I didn’t think it was possible either. Can I get a ¡Chi Chi Arriba Arriba!?

Organic pillow fight

This buckwheat pillow and organic bedding is A o-tay!

When I first heard of The Clean Bedroom website, I thought they’d send people to actually come in and clean my bedroom. Unfortunately for me, that’s not really what they do, but I did find a pretty sweet supply of organic bedding like these Buckwheat pillows.

Drop Your Drawers Here

Have the last word with decorative wall word quotes

My kids don’t always listen to me, so sometimes I need a little extra help. After 13 years my son still didn’t know where the laundry hamper was. I found his dirty underwear and socks everywhere. Then I enlisted the help of Wall Words. With their aid I was able to put up a Decorative Wall Quote reminding my son where to drop his drawers.

Hip to be Square Shower Drain

square shower drains

The last time I dropped an earring down the drain, I was screwed. Literally. I damaged the finish while removing the screw and to top things off, I lost the screw on top of losing my diamond stud. That’s why for me, Square Shower Drain Covers from Tile Depot- Flooring Supply are the way to go.

Call me the African Queen

tikar mask

I’m a woman who loves to play dress up. I also love sprucing up my pad with cool ethnic home decor. This African Tikar Mask from Eastern Art Arcade combines both my love for the dramatic, and my love for interior design. I can dress up or scare my son with it, then hang it on the wall to make a lovely wall centerpiece. It’s so regal I feel like I just won the Immunity Idol on Survivor.

Die germs, die

I’m a germophobe. I wash my hands a million times a day, and they still don’t feel clean. This DepHyze Foaming Hand Sanitizer from Emergency Medical Products is one of the government’s best kept secrets. It’s the world’s safest and most effective antimicrobial ever created. I feel like I’m on Mission Impossible just using it.
