I did not drink wine with that woman

Have some Presidential fun with Catalog Favorites gifts

After the past election, I’m still hyped up and feeling kinda presidential. My vote counted and President-to-be Barack Obama is going to take good care of me and my fellow Americans. I’d like to forget about how I’ve been screwed for the past eight years and celebrate the fact that the Democrats are back in the house. No better way to celebrate the victory of our new President Elect than with a Presidential wine party! This Bill Clinton corkscrew from Catalog Favorites is a welcome addition to any wine party…or party in general.

I ain’t nothing but a hound dog

elvis music boxes

Elvis music boxes are gifts that will get you out of the dog house

The ladies of Catalogs.com love the King. Samara has an Elvis bobble head on her desk, Amy’s favorite movie is Blue Hawaii, Trish is always humming “I’m All Shook Up” and I… Well, I have an Elvis dog impersonator that serenades me to sleep every night. Don’t be cruel and judge me, these Elvis Dog Music Boxes from Music Box Attic are all the rage. Even Vice Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin has one. It may not be a pitbull, but she still puts lipstick on it. Read the rest of this entry »

Monchhichi Monkey Madness

monchhichi

FAO Schwarz has brought back Monchhichi

Get ready kids and campers for an “I Love the 80′s” flashback. When I was a little girl, I was obsessed. Not with Scott Baio from Charles in Charge, not with Ralph Macchio from The Karate Kid (That’s a lie. I proudly owned the Karate Kid headband and did attempt to perform that crazy flying kick when Julie Pickler tried to make me eat sand…it didn’t turn out well). I wasn’t even obsessed with Cabbage Patch Kids. In fact, I thought they beared too much of a resemblance to the Quaker Oats guy, only with ugly, unmanageable yarn hair. No, my obsession dear friends was with Monchhichi. Read the rest of this entry »

Beer breath

corona candy mints

Sit back and relax with icy cold bulk beer breath candy

Who needs a Lifesaver when you can have icy cool beer breath? I don’t drink much, but I do love a fresh mouth. So when I feel my breath is less than minty fresh, I reach for a roll of mah mah mah my Corona Mints. You won’t find retro and bulk candy cooler than at the Candy Warehouse.

Why so serious?

Joke ‘em if you got ‘em with this lookalike Joker Collectible Figurine

I’m a goner for a killer smile. I’m still crushing on Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the Joker from this summer’s mega hit Batman: The Dark Knight. Having this Joker Collectible Figurine on my desk reminds me to not take life so seriously.

Pimp my hat

Sometimes fashion is all about the Benjamins. I’ll be looking cooler than Huggy Bear from Starsky and Hutch wearing one of these Big Money Pimp Hats from Century Novelty. These hats will liven up any party. Wear it next Halloween and I guarantee you’ll feel like a million bucks.

The British are coming

Instead of bringing fireworks and a six-pack of beer to this year’s 4th of July festivities, I’m showing up wearing this Patriot Adult Mascot Costume from Anderson’s Spirit! What better way to show my undying love and loyalty for my country than to show up on my friends’ lawns screaming “The British are coming, the British are coming!!?”

Indiana Jones I presume

Collectible Figurines from your favorite flicks

I have a crush on Harrison Ford. He’s tall, dark, rugged and handsome, even though he’s 60 something. My house is full of my little boys’ action toys, I wish someone would get one of these Indiana Jones Collectible Figurines from Cotswold Collectibles for me.
