Fiber Optics Systems – Cable Organizer - Datacom and Telecom

Route cables safely with fiber optics systems

When it comes time to route cable inside buildings, build backbone or a number of other installations, use fiber optics systems to ensure that the job is done right. Cable systems are also useful for telecommunications rooms and work stations when high-speed data applications are needed.

These cables are lightweight and the loose tube design makes them compatible with any telecommunications optical grade fiber and provides stable performance over a wide temperature range (-40 to +178 °F). The cables are made with a maximum of 12 fibers per buffer tube. In addition, a flooding compound is not needed because of its unique water blocking design with water-swellable tape that allows for simple cable preparation.

  • Fiber optics systems like the Corning’s MIC® Riser utilize 900 µm TBII buffered fibers that are surrounded by dielectric strength members. These cables have a flexible and flame retardant outer jacket. Corning Cable Systems OFNR MIC® cables are available with Mine Safety & Health Administration Approval and with approval with TEMPEST applications.

  • There are a variety of fiber optics systems for both indoor and outdoor cable installation uses.
