In honor of Mother’s Day, Moms the word with a list of the top ten television Moms from 1957 to today. Some are Moms in real life, some only played Moms on TV, either way they taught us well and reminded us of our own dear old Mas… only without the guilt.

The Top 10 Child Stars and Role Models Gone Bad

Once upon a time, we idolized them. We wished that we could swap places with them, if only for a day. We wanted to be BFFs with them, star in their videos, sleep in their sit-com set beds and spend their trust funds. Most of all, we wanted to be popular. Just like them.

Turns out, child stars are just like us. They go through awkward growth spurts, crash their moms’ cars and screw up to epic proportions, just like we do. The only difference? When we mess up, it doesn’t end up on the cover of USWeekly. Here are the top ten childhood stars and role models gone bad, past and present. Some have long since recovered from their falls from grace… others have not.

I’m sure I’ll be hearing from their publicists either way.

The Top 10 I Pity the Fools who Fell for These April Fool’s Day Pranks

April isn’t my favorite month. I have to pay my taxes, tolerate April Showers that will hopefully bring May flowers, and deal with my cranky Catholic friends who’ve given up alcohol, chocolate, hanky panky and other necessities for Lent. Thankfully, there is one saving grace when the month of April comes around… April Fool’s Day.

Some may argue that April Fool’s Day isn’t really a holiday. Those folks have no doubt sat on one too many whoopie cushions or wet themselves from having their hands dipped in warm water every year at sleep-away camp. My advice is to get over it, or better yet… get even. Here are my top ten favorite monumental April Fool’s Day pranks that will inspire you to get out there April 1st and totally act the fool.

The Top 10 St. Patrick’s Day gifts for your friends and brethren

Let’s face it, Saint Patrick’s Day is probably the least holy of holidays, commonly marked by green beer guzzling, consequent green beer puking and strangers using your lack of green attire as an excuse to pinch your personal bits and pieces. The only folks who nay St. Paddy’s Day are those found weekly in AA. It isn’t customary to dole out gifts in honor of St. Pat, but I say spread the leprechaun love anyway with my picks for the top ten St. Paddy’s Day gifts for all ye friends and family.

Gone are the days of Baby Boomers, meet the new faces that surfaced during Election 2008 - the Baby Bamas. While John McCain was busy talking to Joe the Plumber, Barack Obama was talking to Joe the Spit Upper and hundreds of other tiny toddler constituents who rallied and rattled with loyal support for President Obama, some right out of the womb. Our new President is undergoing immense scrutiny for his $787 billion stimulus package, but lest we forget the points that made us all cry out “Obamalujah” only a few short months ago.

From Dr. 90210 to Dr. 9021 Oh God no, celebs in Hollywood have become even more shamelessly obsessed over recent years with defying the aging process and reinventing themselves, ultimately screwing up their mugs to obscene proportions in the process. Splice-and-dice-themed television shows such as “Nip/Tuck”, “Dr. 90210” and “Extreme Makeover” have only increased our morbid fascination with freaky-deeky medical procedures. Whether they were going for a plumper pout, a smoother complexion or a pair of symmetrical boobs, here are my votes for Top 10 botched celebrity plastic surgery procedures.

Instead, you take the brochure, find the cheapest damn wrapping paper on it and ask her if you can pay later, to which she inevitably responds with a resounding “No. I need the money now.” This is just one scenario of many that play out over the course of a typical day in cubicle hell. Top 10 Hottest Presidential Wives (and) Mistresses

There is a saying that only one out of every 10 people is good-looking. Next time you’re in a crowded place, take a gander. You’ll see that it’s mostly true (unless you’re in a room full of swimsuit models - in that case, go you!). So, when narrowing down the top 10 hottest first ladies (and mistresses), I did a little math. There have been 44 presidential wives. If the saying holds true, that means only 4.5 are aesthetically pleasing. Ouch. No wonder there are so many mistresses. The ironic thing about the mistresses, though?
