Although many people may dread the winter and inevitable snow and cold it brings, for others it is a welcoming pleasure.

Snow can be a fun adventure for young and old, and there are many opportunities to partake in winter activities that require snow. Try a few of these top ten what to do when it snow ideas to get your winter started on the right foot!


10. Downhill skiing

Skiing is one of the most popular winter past-times for young children, adolescents and adults. Pack up your ski equipment and try a day pass at a local ski resort to test your downhill skills. Then warm up in the chalet later for hot chocolate.
