Wrestling with what to give the sports fan that has everything can make for some long, sleepless nights.
With your physical well-being in mind, I’ve scoured my favorite catalogs to come up with the best gifts ideas for sports fans. Remember of course, that any sports gift is not the RIGHT gift, unless it’s the RIGHT team on that sports gift for your sports lover.
Legends of the Field
Autographed sports memorabilia
Nothing screams love like autographed sports memorabilia. For fans of one of the great college and NFL running backs of all time, this authentic Earl Campbell signed helmet from Legends of the Field is spot on. This gift is especially cool because the autograph is on the now defunct Oiler franchise helmet. You have other favorite players? Legends of the Field probably has those too.
Sneakerhead
Old school footwear
Jocks everywhere will appreciate these pair of old school Chuck Taylors from Sneakerhead. They’re not ideal to actually hoop or run in, but your sports fan will arrive and leave the Coliseum in style. And, as a bonus, wearing Chuck Taylors will extend the life of those pricey hooping or running shoes they’ll don when it’s go time, because they won’t have to wear them to and from the arena. Stylish and practical; nice.
Tattoo Golf
Edgy golf apparel for trendsters
Golf, thankfully, has begun to get hip with styles for both men and women. Ladies, show ‘em you’re not afraid to mix it up on the course with a gear pack from Tattoo Golf It’s got all the extra gadgets you’ll need, and a few you may not, to traverse 18 holes with the best of them. And if the games off a bit, wave the Tattoo towel a few times so your playing partners can see it; they’ll think twice about sinking that next putt for fear of angering you.
Book Closeouts
Team stats score
This is just one example of the multitude of sports books you can find at Book Closeouts. Like the innate ability to host the perfect gameday party, sports fans everywhere share a love of statistics, especially stats about their favorite teams. Book Closeouts is ideal for the numbers guru, not only because of their large selection, but with the money you save you can make the 9-layer dip next game!
Ithaca Sports
Participation therapy
For the sports fans that still get out and compete, bless you one and all, managing the recoup time after the game takes a bit of forethought. Sombra Warm Therapy from Ithaca Sports will help speed the recovery time; it feels like a thousand tiny fingers, right where your favorite sports fans – and sports particpants – need them most. And they won’t spend the rest of the day smelling like a recently sanitized hospital room mixed with Vapo-Rub.

Thanks for the ideas! All of those are really great that I’m sure any sports lover would really like! Another gadget I would personally add to your list would be the new Tailgater from my TV provider/employer DISH Network. It’s a 10lb portable satellite system that will show all your subscribed programming from home anywhere. Any sports fanatic would love it; especially those who tailgate and go camping a lot! I just bought one for my boyfriend for his birthday last week and he thinks it great! Check out the details here .
