Catalogs.com challenges its Facebook fans to decorate their computer screens for the holidays! Prizes are a Catalogs.com shopping spree to one grand prize winner and five $100 gift cards to any Catalogs.com store to the next five photos having the most votes. The contest is being run on Catalogs.com Facebook page, where entrants upload a photo of their decorated computer screen and then encourage other Facebook users to vote.

$1500 Cyber Monday Shopping Contest
Winners of the Cyber Monday Shopping Contest were announced on Cyber Monday, November 28, 2011. First place of a $1000 shopping spree went to Reine Bullard, who qualified for the grand prize by referring eight fans to the contest. The $500 prize was awarded to Sydney Cook.
Fans of Catalogs.com on Facebook entered the $1500 Cyber Monday Shopping Contest to win $500 or $1000 Cyber Monday shopping spree at the 750 stores on Catalogs.com. One winner from all entrants won the $500 shopping spree and one winner from entrants who referred at least 5 friends was entered to win the grand prize $1000 shopping spree on Catalogs.com.

Catalogs.com randomly selects a monthly $100 giftcard winner in the “Newsletter Sign Up Contest” from entrants who sign up for the Catalogs.com e-newsletter at the Catalogs.com homepage.

The Catalogs.com Holiday Wishlist Contest ran from Black Friday to Cyber Monday in November 2010. One Grand Prize winner, Heather Burgess, won a $1000 catalog shopping spree at shop.catalogs.com. Five additional winners won $100 gift cards. The contest was promoted on Facebook, Twitter and at Catalogs.com’s various blogs. Read the contest press release.
Teachers around the country struggle for funds to buy school supplies. In response, Catalogs.com ran the “2009 Tools for Teaching” competition. The contest, sponsored by eNasco, invited teachers to submit essays explaining why their classroom should win. Entries were judged on persuasiveness, creativity, clarity and demonstration of need. Five teachers won prizes totalling $5500 in school supplies.
