Make sure you know the customs and culture of the country before making contact, as to respect any etiquette rules.
Here are the top ten ways to find an international job:
10. Search by country
Where would you like to live? If you know a second language, would you love to immerse yourself in that culture? Look for an international destination where you’ll think you’d easily adapt but at the same time offers challenges.
9. Search by area of expertise
Are you adventurous enough to work a different skill/trade? Do you have any interests or hobbies that could easily go from hobby to work? Hobbies such as cooking, singing, playing an instrument or web-developing are great areas to develop in.
8. Search by company
Are there American companies in the country of your choosing you could contact? Companies always love to have a direct contact that is familiar with their culture and way of business.
7. Contact directly
Make a list of where you’d be interested in working and start contacting them by email. Directly email the Human Resources Department, as to know if there are any vacancies.
6. Follow up
After a business week, directly contact your reference person and ask if they received your information. Explain what you are looking to do.
5. Research work permit requirements
Do you need a special work visa or vaccinations? Find out all of this before embarking on the adventure. Some visas take a while to go through and vaccinations might need to be spaced out.

If you are interested in a specific subject and would love to study/teach it in another country, look into local colleges abroad. Student/teacher visas are much easier to obtain and you will dive into a new culture all while studying something you love.
