10. Make Movie Trailers
Everyone can take a video of some special event or get together and just watch it from beginning to end. Using an app called iMovie, you can actually write yourself a three minute movie-trailer style video complete with background music. There is really no argument that there are a couple of ways in which the iPad actually falls short of desktop or laptop computer. One of the cool things to do on the iPad is to Facebook or Twitter or even post on Pinterest or LinkedIn while on the go and from almost anywhere. All of the social networking apps for the are getting better all the time.

There are all kinds of different things you can read using an iPad. Barnes and Noble, Amazon and of course the iBooks application allows you to read digital copies of books. There are a ton of different apps that will allow you to balance your bank accounts and make sure you have enough money to buy a few more things out of the app store. There are actually a couple of different applications that will allow you to watch live sports. Watch ESPN is one of the best, especially during the football season, when you can catch a ton of live college football you can’t even find on television.
4. Watch Movies
There are a couple of different ways you can watch movies on the iPad. Netflix is one way in which you can also check out past seasons of your favorite television shows. iTunes also allows you to download and purchase movies and shows and YouTube can serve your movie needs in a pinch. All three work great on Apple’s tablet.
3. Listen to Music
Stream music through your iPad via Pandora or other Internet radio apps, or simply listen to your iTunes library. Strap on a pair of Bluetooth headphones and you can enjoy whatever music you want all day long without the need for a cord.

I’m sure you are shocked to learn that you can play games on the iPad. The sheer number of different games you can play these days is a little shocking. Angry Birds is an old reliable but there are great games out there for everyone.
